Hope for Heather
Hope for Heather is an an organization in Syracuse, NY that works to support, advocate and educate women with and about Ovarian Cancer.
I’ve been volunteering my marketing communications and design services for Hope for Heather, since August 2014 when my mother-in-law lost her four year battle to Ovarian Cancer.
Since connecting with Hope for Heather in 2014, I’ve redesigned their logo, collateral, signage and many other important communication pieces including symptom cards.
I also became a Man of Teal in 2015 where my job entails educating and advocating for Ovarian Cancer.
Jason Adlowitz has used his talents to help our non-profit expand our message of ovarian cancer awareness in our community. He has redesigned our brand image and our message so it is easily recognized, professional, and beautiful. Jason designs our event program for our annual gala; every year his images and the message he helps us to convey are stunning. His heart is in his work - in every project he does. We are very fortunate to have Jason Adlowitz on the Hope for Heather team!

Project
2018 Yearly Fashion Show Event
The 2018 event was a masquerade theme. I really wanted event goers to realize that we keep losing so many mothers, daughters, sisters and friends so I spent a great deal of time researching those lives lost across the Syracuse region from Ovarian cancer and incorporated those names into the masquerade mask.
It turned out to be more impactful that originally intended.

Business Card refresh
The name side of the cards follow a more traditional style of design, while the backside of the cards all are varied and each one speaks to a specific message important to the education of ovarian cancer.
